The program "Warm Border Spring for the People" was organized by the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard in coordination with local Party Committees and authorities with the participation of the Provincial Youth Union and the Dak Lak Provincial Literature and Arts Association.
In localities, the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard Command presented 20 gifts, each worth VND500,000, to families in particularly difficult circumstances. The Dak Lak Provincial Youth Union presented 6 Vietnam Maps to Border Guard Stations and local authorities, presented 2 gifts, 2 scholarships to adopted children of Border Guard Stations; 500 books and newspapers were presented to Nguyen Trai Primary School and Nguyen Dinh Chieu Secondary School; the Dak Lak Provincial Literature and Arts Association presented 35 gifts to poor families.
In particular, Miss H'Hen Nie presented 200 gifts (500,000 VND/gift) to policy families and families in especially difficult circumstances.
On this occasion, Ea H'Leo Border Guard Station, Ia Rve coordinated with local authorities to present more than 1,500 banh chung and 100 gifts to disadvantaged students in the area.
According to Miss H'Hen Nie, "Spring Border Guard warms the hearts of the villagers" is a very meaningful program. In the difficult living conditions of people in the border area, H'Hen Nie wants to join hands with the Border Guard and people nationwide to respond to the movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind".
H'Hen Nie hopes to see more support from society towards the border, especially during the Lunar New Year, so that ethnic people in border areas can overcome difficulties, gradually stabilize their lives, and continue to accompany the Border Guard in protecting the country's borders.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Ro Lan Ngan, Deputy Political Commissar of Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard, the program "Spring Border Guard warms the hearts of the villagers" is a regular activity of the Border Guard in the border area to share and encourage people every time Tet comes, Spring comes and to express gratitude to the ethnic minorities in the border area for actively participating with the Border Guard in the work of protecting national border sovereignty.
This year, the program has the joint support of many departments, branches, socio-political organizations of Dak Lak province and many organizations, individuals, businesses, and philanthropists inside and outside Dak Lak province to encourage and share the difficulties of the people and bring the traditional Tet atmosphere to the ethnic minorities in the border areas.
Dak Lak has 4 border communes in two districts: Buon Don (73,427 people, ethnic minorities account for 46.5%) and Ea Sup (80,647 people, ethnic minorities account for 45.09%). The program "Border Spring Warms the Hearts of the Villagers" on the occasion of the Year of the Dragon was held in 4 border communes from January 13 to February 4.
