Ho Ngoc Ha: "No one praises or criticizes is a tragedy"

(Dan Tri) - Ho Ngoc Ha believes that if a product is praised when it is released, it is good, but if there is criticism, she will learn from it. For the female singer, a product that no one cares about is... a tragedy.

On the evening of November 21, Ho Ngoc Ha organized a music video introduction event for "Magic Lamp" in Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of guest stars including Bui Anh Tuan, Lan Khue, Le Thuy, Mai Ngo, Phi Phuong Anh, Chung Huyen Thanh, Huynh Lap, Hai Trieu... and more than 300 spectators.

The song has a catchy melody, composed by Trid Minh. The MV was directed by Dinh Ha Uyen Thu, in which Ho Ngoc Ha used 15 costumes from the design team of Lam Gia Khang. Many viewers commented that the female singer has changed a lot in terms of image and musical style in this product.

Ho Ngoc Ha also commented that this is the MV that she is most satisfied with in her 20-year journey. The singer admitted that there were times when she felt stuck, not knowing what to do, not knowing if she would still be loved by the audience.

"For me, if a product is praised, it's good, but if it gets criticism, I look at it to learn from it. I'm just afraid that if I release a product and no one cares, neither criticizing nor praising it, that would be a tragedy," said the female singer.

At the event, Ho Ngoc Ha also introduced a new EP (extended play) called "Close your eyes, turn on the music, turn off the phone" consisting of 4 songs marking a "transformation" in both her image and music, no longer seeing sad songs about love, instead focusing on exploiting positive aspects.

The female singer adjusted her singing style and the way she handled the songs. In addition, the female singer also worked with a new team consisting of young people. "All the songs in the EP are vibrant and new. I requested that no songs be sung about painful love, so the team brought in positive songs that were arranged vibrantly," Ho Ngoc Ha shared.

The singer believes that loving and being loved is a blessing, an emotion that helps each person find more balance in life. "Those who are suffering and listen to these songs will find new hope and a way out to believe that there is always beautiful and positive love, not just suffering," Ho Ngoc Ha said.

The EP will be released on November 25, Ho Ngoc Ha's 40th birthday.
