"Our Village Rice Grain" on the Rap Viet stage
Rap Viet episode 8 season 3 aired on the evening of July 15 witnessed an explosive confrontation between the contestants on coach B Ray's team.
Double2T and LoR made the whole studio dance to every rap.
The duo LoR and Double2T opened the competition night with a rap inspired by the familiar poem "Hat gao lang ta" by author Tran Dang Khoa, combined with the sound of the moon lute supported by artist Cao Ba Hung.
Coach BigDaddy commented: "You two have put folk songs and proverbs into the rap song in a very reasonable way, you have sketched a very beautiful panorama of Vietnamese farmers. Thank you very much!".
Judge JustaTee shared: "I thank you two very much for bringing folk elements into the song. You have helped our predecessors convey the best of Vietnam to future generations as well as help international friends know more about it."
LoR received 64 points and Double2T 36 points. The judges decided that LoR would advance to the next round because of the obvious improvement in skills.
When MC Tran Thanh announced that Double2T would continue to compete in the 8-bar round (rescue match), the whistle sounded from Coach BigDaddy's seat along with the declaration: "This golden hat was originally intended for someone else, but Double2T showed me that you deserve it!".
Finally, Double2T became a member of Coach BigDaddy's team after Rap Viet episode 8 season 3.
24k.Right and Yuno BigBoi explode on stage
Rap Viet episode 8 season 3 witnessed the "stirring up" of the pair Yuno BigBoi - 24k.Right with the rap "Are You Okay, Bro?".
Yuno BigBoi and 24k.Right's performance exploded at Rap Viet episode 8 season 3.
24k.Right is a "super monster" who received four golden hats from four coaches in the conquest round, and Yuno BigBoi impressed with his warm voice in season 1 of Rap Viet, but when he returned for season 3, he only received one pick from coach B Ray.
According to B Ray, he chose 24k.Right and Yuno BigBoi as a pair because "he wanted to turn the two of them into "golden hat hunters".
"Actually, I heard rumors that many people think Right only shined in round 1 and then gradually faded away, and Yuno also had many doubts about his ability in this comeback. So I wanted to put the two of them against each other as a response to all those doubts," the coach expressed.
The performance of 24k.Right and Yuno BigBoi made the audience restless. The whole stage exploded when coach Thai VG quickly took the contestant to his team: "No matter who wins or loses, I will bring the remaining person to my team!".
Not letting his senior be quicker, Coach Andree Right Hand quietly threw his yellow hat onto the stage without waiting for his turn.
Immediately after that, the two hats of Coach Thai VG and BigDaddy were thrown onto the stage, making MC Tran Thanh excited: "This is the first performance to receive three golden hats in the second round of Rap Viet season 3".
In the voting part from the studio audience, Yuno BigBoi dominated with 63 votes compared to 24k.Right's 37 votes. The judges chose 24k.Right to move on to the next round with Coach B Ray. Yuno BigBoi made his decision when he received the yellow hat to become a member of Coach Thai VG's team.
The only girl in team B Ray left
The competing pair Huynh Cong Hieu - DT Tap Rap "competed on the mic" with the performance "Who are you?" in Rap Viet episode 8 season 3.
Both contestants exploit the story based on the perspective of love of an immature person who loves with all his heart and an adult standing between heart and mind.

Coach B Ray shared his wish that this pair would create music that could be listened to anywhere and when reading the lyrics, they would ponder the depth of each word.
Huynh Cong Hieu received 71 votes and 29 votes for DT Tap Rap. After discussion, the three judges decided to choose Huynh Cong Hieu to continue to the breakthrough round. Thus, DT Tap Rap will compete in the 8 bar round.
With the youngest duo Captain and Umie, B Ray wants to make a song that "hits" the Gen-Z generation and expresses the dreamy love of young teenagers.
The extremely adorable combination of "Baby Call Me" by both of them performed true to the spirit of the song, promising to create a trend. In the voting from the studio audience, Captain and Umie were evenly matched with Captain receiving 57 points and Umie 43 points.
In the end, the judges chose Captain to move on with team B Ray to the next round and Umie to enter the 8 bar round.

The final round to choose a wild card, with the theme "Winning the jackpot", DT Tap Rap won convincingly. Umie - the only girl of team B Ray officially ended the journey of Rap Viet season 3.
At the end of episode 8, Team B Ray has 6 members: Dlow (from Team Andree), LoR, Huynh Cong Hieu, Captain, 24k.Right and DT Tap Rap. Double2T becomes a member of Coach BigDaddy's team and Yuno BigBoi will "move house" to Coach Thai VG's team.
