For a long time, Vietnam has been out of the priority list of many foreign stars when performing tours around Asia; while Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia or Singapore... are the priorities. However, recently, the choices of many foreign stars have changed. Clips circulating on social media platforms TikTok and Facebook about Charlie Puth's performances have had millions of views.

Upon returning to Korea, Blackpink members posted memorable moments in Vietnam. With her modest Vietnamese skills, Rosé still took the time to interact with Vietnamese audiences. Within just 2 hours of posting, Rosé's series of photos posing with conical hats attracted more than 1.1 million likes and more than 11,700 comments from the audience.

The presence of international artists in Vietnam is a good thing, showing that our organizational capacity has improved a lot compared to 10 years ago. Ms. Pham Kim Hoa, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Light Music Center, commented: "Vietnam's organization has left many impressions on foreign artists. They also enjoy the performances in Vietnam".

However, in order for Vietnam to become an attractive destination for international music stars, we need to invest more in performance facilities, have a team of highly qualified technicians, and form a professional ticketing and payment system...
