On November 20, the Hezbollah movement in Lebanon said it used unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), artillery shells and missiles to attack Israeli military positions in the north of the country.
Specifically, Hezbollah launched “three UAV attacks” against Israeli soldiers in the town of Kiryat Shmona. Previously, this location was also heavily shelled from Lebanese territory and all were said to have hit the targets.

Hezbollah also claimed to have launched a series of “Burkan missiles” into northern Israel, and also confirmed that some of them had hit their targets. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) later said that they had detected three UAVs attacking close to an outpost, but there were no reports of casualties.

“There were 25 attacks from Lebanon towards several locations near the border” with Israel, the IDF statement said, adding that air defense systems intercepted some of the projectiles, while the rest fell in open ground.

In response, the IDF mobilized tanks, fighter jets and helicopters to fire on Hezbollah positions in Lebanon, especially locations suspected of deploying anti-tank missiles in southern Beirut.
