Korean low-cost airline opens Cheongju route

Early morning of February 7, flight number RF531 of Aero-K airline brought 170 passengers from Cheongju (South Korea) to Da Nang city.

The Da Nang Department of Tourism in collaboration with Aero-K organized a program to welcome guests on the first flight. 170 passengers were given conical hats and publications introducing Da Nang tourism.

Aero-K is a low-cost airline from Korea, which was launched in Da Nang City on February 5.

Aero-K airline launched in Da Nang city

This new route of the airline aims to increase flights to serve travel needs and stimulate tourism growth between Cheongju (Korea) and Da Nang City.

Da Nang is also the first city in Vietnam that this low-cost airline has chosen to operate regular flights with a frequency of 1 flight/day.

The flight departs from Cheongju at 22:05 and lands in Da Nang at 00:45. The return flight departs from Da Nang at 2:15 a.m. the same day.

According to the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City, currently in addition to Aero-K, the Cheongju - Da Nang route is also operated by T'way airline with a frequency of 1 flight/day.

The joint operation of the airlines opens up more opportunities and choices for traveling between Cheongju and Da Nang.

The Da Nang Department of Tourism added that South Korea is the leading international market for Da Nang tourism with 23-25 ​​flights/day from major cities such as Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Muan, and Cheongju. The number of flights from South Korea accounts for more than 50% of international flights to Da Nang.
