The atmosphere of welcoming the National Day on September 2nd at Ba Den Mountain was bustling, with bright red flags and flowers from the foot of the mountain to the top. A series of art performances and unique cultural and spiritual experiences taking place day and night made Ba Mountain an attractive destination, attracting a large number of visitors during the recent holiday.
Right from the first morning of the holiday, the roads lined with red flags with yellow stars leading to Ba Den Mountain were bustling with tourists from all over. At the cable car station, many tourists lined up to go to the pagoda and the top of the mountain. The paths were divided to make it easier for people to explore the highest mountain in the South. After a few hours traveling by car from Ho Chi Minh City to Tay Ninh, Ms. Anh Ngoc shared: “My family decided to choose Ba Den Mountain as a tourist destination during this year's holiday because it does not take much time to travel and has many unique experiences. Family members had a warm time together, slowing down after tiring working days”. At the hundreds of years old Ba Pagoda system, which was splendidly decorated, many tourists came to burn incense and pray for peace before Linh Son Thanh Mau Bo Tat. The giant red flag with yellow stars made of thousands of flower lanterns became a highlight, expressing national pride right on the top of the sacred mountain. In the evening, the solemn and sacred lantern offering ceremony brought unforgettable emotions to tourists. Tourists also enjoyed attractive dishes decorated with the shape of the red flag with yellow star and watched unique art performances. The Chhay-dam drum dance and the pentatonic music performance by local artists brought the typical cultural features of the South.

In addition to the lantern offering ceremony held every Saturday evening, the grand lantern offering ceremony to celebrate National Day, praying for national peace and prosperity, was held on the evening of September 2 on the top of Ba Den Mountain. Thousands of people prayed under countless sparkling lanterns, lighting up the entire mountain top. After the lantern offering ceremony, visitors were excited to watch the water music performance using the most modern technologies in Vietnam. With the statue of Bodhisattva Maitreya placed in the center, the water music show tells the story of the emotional levels of meditation through a beautiful combination of water, sound and light. In addition to many unique experiences, the phenomenon of lens clouds (cloud hats) appearing continuously during this time has helped Ba Den Mountain attract tens of thousands of visitors every day, becoming an attractive destination during the September 2 holiday this year.
