Hanoi People's Committee requested to speed up the progress of the project to invest in building roads surrounding the Chu Van An memorial site and the project to invest in building Ring Road 2.5 (Dam Hong - National Highway 1A section).
The Office of the Hanoi People's Committee has just issued Notice No. 588 on the conclusion of the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh regarding the progress of two BT traffic construction investment projects, including: Investment project to build traffic roads surrounding the Chu Van An memorial site, Thanh Tri district; Investment project to build Ring Road 2.5 (Dam Hong - National Highway 1A section), Hoang Mai district.

Specifically, regarding the implementation of the Project to invest in the construction of traffic routes surrounding the Chu Van An Memorial Area, the Chairman of the City People's Committee requested the People's Committees of Ha Dong and Thanh Tri districts to focus on and urgently speed up the progress of site clearance, focusing on directing the resolution of difficulties in site clearance at the intersection with Phan Trong Tue Street (Road 70) to be completed by June 2025 at the latest. Investors focus resources on the construction of the intersection with Phan Trong Tue Street (Road 70) to be completed in 2025.
Notably, in order to promptly complete the investment project to build the Ring Road 2.5 (Dam Hong - National Highway 1A section), Hoang Mai district synchronized with the putting into operation of the investment project to build the underpass between Ring Road 2.5 and Giai Phong Street, the City People's Committee agreed on the policy of continuing to sign the appendix to extend the BT contract (investment project to build works in the form of a Build - Transfer Contract according to the provisions of law) for the investment project to build the Ring Road 2.5 (Dam Hong - National Highway 1A section), Hoang Mai district.
The Hanoi Department of Transport is assigned to preside over and coordinate with the City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board to urgently review, advise, and propose to the City People's Committee on signing an appendix to extend the BT contract, and propose to authorize the agency to sign the contract appendix.
The Chairman of the City People's Committee also assigned the Department of Planning and Investment to preside over and coordinate with relevant units, based on the report of the City Inspectorate and the opinion of the City Police, to review the legal basis, the process of formation and implementation of the investment project to build the new urban area to expand the North and Northwest of Dai Kim - Dinh Cong, the BT project investment (Ring Road 2.5, Dam Hong - National Highway 1A section, Hoang Mai district), the signed BT contract and other related contents, propose to report to the City People's Committee for consideration and resolution.
