Hanoi suspends 6 candidates in 10th grade entrance exam

According to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, during the math exam for the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2023-2024 school year, on the morning of June 10, the exam sites in the city were safe, serious, and in compliance with exam regulations. The entire city of Hanoi has 201 exam sites with 4,477 exam rooms (non-specialized); 402 backup exam rooms.

The number of staff, teachers and employees present was 15,368/15,369 people, accounting for 99.99% (a sick supervisor was assigned a backup teacher to ensure compliance with exam regulations). No exam supervisor violated exam regulations.

In the math exam, the number of candidates taking the exam was 115,033/115,651, reaching a rate of 99.5%; 618 candidates were absent. In this exam, 1 candidate brought a phone.

The total number of candidates violating exam regulations in this admission period is 6; of which, 2 candidates in the literature exam, 3 candidates in the foreign language exam and 1 candidate in the math exam.

Previously, after the two exams on June 10, many candidates as well as teachers of related subjects commented that the 10th grade entrance exam was within their ability. For the literature exam, the common score range for this subject is likely to be 6-7, with many 8s, but it is difficult to get a 10. As for the foreign language exam, students can easily get a 7-8. According to some experts, a score of 10 in foreign language this year is not too difficult to achieve.
