According to the Plan, Hanoi focuses on implementing the planning for preservation, restoration and rehabilitation of special national relics, national relic clusters and city-level relics that have been ranked to form a complex distributed in the same geographical area, with close relationships in history, culture, science and aesthetics. Including 21 special national relic clusters (including 89 single relics) and many relic clusters under the management of districts.
Hanoi has a total of 579 relics in need of investment in restoration and embellishment in the 2021-2025 period with a total cost of 14,029 billion VND.
At the same time, follow the roadmap to restore and embellish historical and cultural relics, relics of architectural and artistic value, scenic spots, and national relics and city-level relics of typical value.
Specifically, the total number of relics requiring investment in restoration and embellishment in the 2021-2025 period is 579 projects with a total cost of 14,029 billion VND. Of which, world heritage, special national relics, and revolutionary resistance relics are 58 relics, with the city expected to invest 5,676.3 billion VND.
The city's historical and cultural relics support districts and towns to restore and embellish in the period of 2021-2025 and the following years, including 521 relics (of which: 337 relics ranked at national level and 184 relics at city level), with a total budget of 8,352.7 billion VND.
The renovation will be carried out from 2024-2025 and the following years with funding from the city budget.
For relics not included in Resolution No. 02/NQ-HDND and Resolution No. 12/NQ-HDND, the competent authorities shall review and classify the level of degradation of the relics to synthesize a report for the city to propose continued investment in restoration and embellishment in the 2025-2030 period./.
