Ha Nam allocates 21 hectares of land for Banking Academy to build second campus

Not only allocating 21 hectares of land to the Banking Academy, Ha Nam province also promised to spend at least 500 billion VND to support the academy in building a second campus.

According to the Banking Academy, in a recent working session between the academy's delegation and the leaders of Ha Nam province, Mr. Truong Quoc Huy, Secretary of the Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee, said that the locality has reserved land to welcome the Banking Academy to Ha Nam to build its second campus.

Mr. Truong Quoc Huy said that Ha Nam is aiming to become a university training center, a high-quality medical service center, a center for entertainment, tourism and resort of the whole country. 12 years ago, the province was approved by the Government for the project to build Nam Cao University Area (located in Duy Tien Town and Phu Ly City), with an area of ​​up to more than 750 hectares.

Ha Nam province plans to allocate 21 hectares of land and support the Banking Academy with VND500 billion to build the second campus. In addition, the locality will also accompany and support the academy in site clearance, planning and construction design.

According to the leaders of the Banking Academy, the expansion and construction of the second campus in Ha Nam contributes to implementing the academy's development strategy until 2030, with a vision to 2045.

Currently, the Banking Academy is headquartered in Chua Boc Street (Hanoi), with an area of ​​3.6 hectares, with a scale of 16,000 students (students, graduate students, and researchers). In addition, the academy has a training facility in Son Tay Town (Hanoi) of 2.4 hectares, serving the subject of national defense education; Bac Ninh branch of 1 hectare; Phu Yen branch of 3.6 hectares.

According to the vision in the academy's development strategy, Banking Academy wants to become a prestigious university, training in many fields and interdisciplinary fields that meet international accreditation standards by 2030.

In the planning of Vietnam's university network until 2030 and until 2045, Ha Nam is one of the few localities (along with Hung Yen) welcoming universities in Hanoi's inner city to relocate.
