Which bank is the most profitable for 6-month savings?

ABBank has just reduced its deposit interest rates for the second time since the beginning of July. According to the deposit interest rate schedule from July 13, ABBank reduced interest rates by 0.1 - 0.2 percentage points for terms over 5 months.

The savings interest rate on online channels and applications for 6-7 month terms decreased slightly by 0.1 percentage points to 7.4%/year. The savings interest rate for 8-9 month terms is now down to 7.45%/year and for 10-12 month terms is down to 7.5%/year.

Meanwhile, ABBank adjusted the savings interest rate for long terms from 13 to 60 months down by 0.2 percentage points to 7.2%/year.

Similarly, BaoViet Bank adjusted down its deposit interest rate by 0.2 percentage points for 12-month term deposits.

Currently, the online savings interest rate for individual customers with a 12-month term is 7.5%/year. This is also the savings interest rate for terms of 24-36 months.

The highest interest rate at Bao Viet is 7.6%/year for terms of 13-18 months. Meanwhile, the interest rate for 6-month terms is 7%/year, and for terms of 7-11 months is 7.1%/year.

Up to now, 16 banks have reduced deposit interest rates in July, including: TPBank, ABBank, Saigonbank, SHB, NamA Bank, Eximbank, LPBank, VPBank, OCB, BacA Bank, BVBank, VietBank, OceanBank, MSB, SeABank, and BaoViet Bank.
