Specifically, the delivery price for May 2025 is 4,973 USD/ton; the delivery price for July 2025 is 4,923 USD/ton; the delivery price for September 2025 is 4,839 USD/ton and the delivery price for November 2025 is 4,771 USD/ton.

Similarly, the price of Arabica coffee on the New York floor on the afternoon of April 11 fluctuated slightly, increasing by 1 - 1.20 cents/lb compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 332.80 - 346.05 cents/lb. Specifically, the delivery period in May 2025 is 344.00 cents/lb; the delivery period in July 2025 is 342.80 cents/lb; the delivery period in September 2025 is 338.45 cents/lb and the delivery period in December 2025 is 333.65 cents/lb.

At the end of the trading session, the price of Brazilian Arabica coffee fluctuated up and down through the delivery terms, ranging from 407.10 - 482.70 USD/ton. Recorded as follows: the delivery period in May 2025 was 464.40 USD/ton; the delivery period in July 2025 was 427.45 USD/ton; the delivery period in September 2025 was 417.00 and the delivery period in December 2025 was 407.10 USD/ton.

Domestic coffee prices maintain upward momentum

The tariff deferral is seen as a temporary relief in the escalating trade war. However, investors and farmers should also closely monitor market fluctuations to make appropriate decisions in the coming time.

According to experts, world coffee prices are under pressure from many factors, including the global trade situation and changes in US tariff policies. If the US imposes high tariffs on imported goods from Vietnam, this will greatly affect the competitiveness of Vietnamese coffee in the international market.

According to Reuters, an international coffee trading company shared that roasters in the US - which import coffee from Vietnam, Indonesia and Nicaragua - need to consider the possibility of renegotiating with customers to find alternative sources of supply.

Expert Nguyen Quang Binh analyzed that following the excitement after the US's decision to postpone tariffs for 90 days with many countries, coffee on both exchanges increased sharply. However, towards the end of the session, the increase slowed down. Concerns about the trade war put pressure on coffee prices.

The slowdown in coffee prices is also due to the weak Brazilian currency and the start of the Robusta harvest in the country. The United States is the world's largest coffee importer and consumer. Brazil is the largest supplier of coffee to the U.S. market, with significant imports from Colombia and other Central and South American countries.
