Contribute to the drafting of a decree regulating compensation, support, resettlement and land prices

The 2024 Land Law was passed by the National Assembly on January 18, 2024. Therefore, the issuance of a Decree regulating compensation, support, and resettlement when the State acquires land to provide detailed guidance on the implementation of a number of articles of the 2024 Land Law and the Decree regulating land prices is extremely necessary.

At the conference, delegates discussed and commented on each article and clause of the draft decrees; focusing on some main contents such as: subjects receiving support for stabilizing their lives, supporting training, career conversion and job search; other cases receiving compensation for land and conditions for land compensation; costs to ensure the organization of compensation, support and resettlement; regulations on land price list according to location; determining the value and land price of the land plot to be appraised...

The opinion of the representative of Lao Cai province suggested considering and regulating the level of support for stabilizing production life according to the average income per unit of agricultural land area for each specific case; assigning the provincial People's Committee to regulate the support level suitable to local reality.

Concluding the conference, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha requested that the drafting of the decrees must be carried out urgently and seriously. Ministries, branches, localities, and associations continue to contribute opinions and complete the draft decrees; focusing on the contents that many people are interested in such as: land valuation methods, compensation plans, support, resettlement, etc.
