“As a lucky person who has had many opportunities to come to Sa Pa, since 1998, the first time coming to Sa Pa, when this place was still in its infancy, transportation was difficult, tourism infrastructure was almost non-existent, we were determined to write about the land and people of Sa Pa, so that many people would know about this place”, said comrade Nguyen Thai Binh. Over the past 20 years, the appearance of Sa Pa tourism has changed a lot, tourism promotion and advertising has been better, attracting many domestic and foreign visitors. Up to now, the development of Sa Pa has far exceeded the expectations and thoughts of tourists, as well as the government and people of Sa Pa town. “The publication of the book was done with responsibility, with the desire to contribute a small part to promote Sa Pa tourism, so that Sa Pa becomes a favorite destination for many more people”, comrade Nguyen Thai Binh shared. According to him, the Truth National Political Publishing House organized the launch of this book in Sa Pa town, so that delegates could have the opportunity to experience the beautiful scenery and impressive services in Sa Pa, to further admire the hands and minds of the people who are not afraid of hardship and sacrifice to build Sa Pa into a leading cultural and natural tourist destination in the world. "Hopefully, when reading this small book, if you are still far away, you will want to visit Sa Pa one day soon, if you are in Sa Pa, you will want to stay longer, and if you have been to Sa Pa, you will want to come back soon", the co-author of the book emphasized.

Editor Pham Thi Thu Hong also said that the book manuscript was carefully processed, going through many stages in the strict, careful, and meticulous editing and publishing process of the Truth National Political Publishing House: from the editor's editing stage to the proofreading stage. Congratulating the two authors on completing the publication of the book and organizing the Book Launch today, Ms. Do Van Que, An ninh Thu do newspaper, shared from the perspective of a reader, the book is like a "monograph" for tourists, helping them find many things that Sa Pa has, and at the same time very typical of Sa Pa such as clouds, mountains, samu... Many details in the book make her especially interested, such as the pages, stories about snow, about cardamom, about respect for nature, or about the cuisine of the indigenous people. Those stories are like a "guide for readers to learn and research more". Emphasizing that the reconciliation between tradition and development is inherently difficult, Ms. Do Van Que said that she was one of the first reporters to be interested, even doubting that the construction of the cable car line would destroy the landscape and environment here. However, now that the cable car has been completed and put into operation, she finds it really reasonable, because "without the cable car, I probably would never have had the opportunity to reach the top of Fansipan" - Ms. Que shared.
