Hanoi By maintaining a "clean eating" diet combined with exercise on Youtube, Kieu Anh, 24 years old, lost 8 cm of her lower abdomen, 4 cm of her waist, and 3 kg of fat within two months.
Nguyen Kieu Anh, currently an office worker, used to weigh 63 kg due to a cesarean section, along with an unhealthy diet and lifestyle. She often consumed a lot of starch in the morning, fried foods with a lot of oil, and snacked when staying up late.
Previously, the woman had tried all kinds of weight loss methods to regain her figure, such as fasting, cutting down on starch, and even taking diet pills of unknown origin bought online. As a result, after losing weight for a while, her figure became as flabby as before, and Kieu Anh even felt tired, sluggish, and angry all the time. When she went to the hospital for a health check, the doctor said she had liver disease, fatty blood, high uric acid, and was at risk of metabolic disorders.
Worried about her health, she was determined to find more effective, scientific, sustainable, and healthy weight loss methods. Through her friends' introduction, Kieu Anh learned about the eat clean diet, which helps her lose weight while still being full of energy.
"Eat clean" is a diet with the purpose of being healthy, losing weight, maintaining a good figure and focusing on using natural foods. The general principle of this diet is to encourage the consumption of more whole foods such as: fruits, vegetables, lean meats, whole grains and healthy fats... At the same time, the eater needs to limit fast food, processed foods, sweets and other packaged foods.
Instead of eating a lot of starch and fast food like before, Kieu Anh now actively adds dishes containing a lot of protein, fiber, and good fats. Applying the 4-4-12 intermittent diet, she only eats 3 main meals a day including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, no snacks. The time between meals follows the rule: breakfast is at least 4 hours from lunch, lunch is at least 4 hours from dinner, and dinner is at least 12 hours from the next morning's breakfast.
Most of the dishes are steamed, boiled, braised, made into soup, or grilled (wrapped in foil in an air fryer). She eats vegetables first, then soup, food and rice, and finally fruit with little sugar. To help the food digest well and keep the stomach full for a long time, she eats slowly and chews each meal thoroughly for at least 20 minutes.
Besides following a diet, Kieu Anh always makes sure to drink enough water, at least 2-2.5 liters of water per day, to help her body not get tired and feel hungry longer.

Knowing his wife’s efforts, Kieu Anh’s husband, Mr. Phuong, always persistently encouraged his wife to diet and exercise to regain her figure. In addition, he also applied the same diet and exercise regimen as his wife to help her be determined in her journey to regain her health.
"Sometimes I see my husband is more determined than his wife, I feel sorry for him, but also feel lucky and happy," Kieu Anh said.
Now, the mother of one can confidently wear crop tops to show off her slim waist, ditching the baggy T-shirts that covered her belly fat a year ago.
"Seeing my friends and mothers of the same age, all having beautiful bodies, made me always feel insecure. But after losing weight, I realized that a scientific lifestyle is more important than physical appearance, it is health and beauty from the inside," Kieu Anh shared.
