Go Cong Tay District: Handing over the Great Unity House

(ABO) On the afternoon of April 16, the Party Committee, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Binh town, Go Cong Tay district, Tien Giang province held a ceremony to hand over a solidarity house to a near-poor household in the town.

The house was handed over to Mr. Tran Minh Hong, born in 1966, residing in Ward 2, Vinh Binh Town, a near-poor household with difficult housing conditions. He himself has no land to live on, lives as a bricklayer, and has an unstable income. His younger brother gave him a part of the land to build the house.

From the budget of the Fund for the Poor of Vinh Binh town, Mr. Tran Minh Hong was supported with 60 million VND, along with the additional contribution of 12 million VND from relatives, a total of 72 million VND, he was able to build a "3-hard" house with an area of ​​32 m2 , walls, cement roof, cement floor, concrete pillars, iron door.

At the house handover ceremony, the local government also presented Mr. Hong’s family with many gifts to congratulate the family on having a new house; at the same time, encouraged the family to continue to strive to improve their lives, build a stable family economy, and escape poverty sustainably.

The Great Unity House was built and handed over according to Plan 15/KH-UBND dated January 21, 2025 of the People's Committee of Go Cong Tay district on implementing the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the district.
