2025 International Student Competition finds its champion

The football team of Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism continued to affirm its strength when winning the 2025 International Youth Student Football Championship.

After being crowned champion of the 2025 Vietnam Youth Student Football Tournament, the team of Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism continued to make a strong impression when they won 2-1 against Lao University in the final match of the 2025 International Youth Student Football Tournament on the afternoon of March 30.

The confrontation between the two teams at Ton Duc Thang University brought a spectacular performance to the fans with an exciting and dramatic match. Although the match started with a fairly balanced situation, the Thanh team quickly took the lead. In the 19th minute, in a quick attack on the left wing, the ball was crossed into the penalty area of ​​the Lao University team and defender Xaysombath Bounphaeng accidentally scored an own goal, helping Thanh Hoa take the lead.

Not stopping there, coach Thanh Hoa's team continued to attack sharply, and in the 37th minute, Le Van Thuc doubled the gap with a tricky shot from a long pass from midfield.

Despite being 2-0 down, Lao University did not give up easily. In the second half, they pushed up their attack and in the 43rd minute, Khamkheng soloed past three Thanh Hoa defenders to reduce the score to 1-2. However, the Thanh Hoa team still maintained their position and won the match with a final score of 2-1.

With this victory, Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism not only won the championship, but also received a prize of 6,000 USD . Previously, this team won the 2025 Vietnam Student Football Championship. Life University (Cambodia) won third place after winning the penalty shootout against Malaysia University.
