DNO - On the afternoon of April 25, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade adjusted the retail prices of petroleum products. Notably, the price of RON95 gasoline dropped to below 25,000 VND/liter compared to the previous adjustment period.

Specifically, during this period, the retail price of RON92 gasoline decreased by VND307/liter, down to VND23,919/liter; RON95 gasoline decreased by VND322/liter, down to VND24,915/liter.
Thus, domestic gasoline prices have all turned to decrease before the April 30 and May 1 holidays. Since the beginning of the year, the price of RON95 gasoline alone has increased 10 times and decreased 7 times.
Similarly, oil prices continued to be adjusted downward during this period. Specifically, diesel prices dropped sharply by VND730 to VND20,716/liter; kerosene prices dropped by VND730/liter to VND20,686/liter. Fuel oil prices increased by VND202/kg to VND17,408/kg.
In this operating period, the joint ministries did not set aside or use the Price Stabilization Fund for all gasoline and oil products.
