Domestic gold price skyrocketed to over 106 million VND/tael

Enterprises listed the price of SJC gold bars at 103.4 million VND/tael (buy) - 106.4 million VND/tael (sell), an increase of 2.8 million VND/tael each way compared to the end of the previous day.

Regarding the price of gold rings, Saigon Jewelry Company Limited has gold rings of type 1-5 at only 102.4 million VND/tael (buy) - 105.4 million VND/tael (sell), 2.6 million VND/tael higher than the end of yesterday each way.

Meanwhile, Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company increased by VND700,000/tael each way, to VND100.6 million/tael (buy) - VND103.6 million/tael (sell).

Domestic gold prices have increased sharply following international prices. Early this morning, the world gold price was trading at 3,186 USD/ounce, up 86 USD compared to the lowest price in last night's trading session. Compared to the same time yesterday, the gold price "increased" by more than 100 USD/ounce.

World gold prices increased sharply amid investor concerns about trade tensions.

At 8:30 a.m., the gold price surpassed the 3,200 USD/ounce mark, trading at 3,213 USD/ounce, converted to about 5.5 million VND/tael lower than the domestic gold price.

In the foreign exchange market, the State Bank of Vietnam announced the central exchange rate of VND to USD, applied for April 11, is 1 USD = 24,923 VND, down 41 VND compared to April 10.

BIDV set it at 25,520 million VND/tael (buy) - 25,880 million VND/tael (sell), down 90 VND compared to the previous day.

Vietcombank listed the price at 25,520 VND (buy) - 25,880 VND (sell) compared to the previous price of 25,610 VND (buy) - 25,970 VND (sell).
