Following Official Dispatch No. 38/CD-TTg dated April 16, 2025 on organizing the groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies of key national works and projects and major works on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); in order for the ceremony to be solemn and meaningful, creating a jubilant atmosphere to spread the spirit of patriotism to the community, the Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Construction and Vietnam Television (VTV) to review and complete the ceremony script.

The ceremony will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 on April 19, 2025 (instead of 9:30 to 11:30). In the program, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will give a speech; Deputy Prime Ministers, Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Government agencies and Secretaries of City and Provincial Party Committees will attend and give instructions at local connection points.

The ceremony had all kinds of works and projects in various fields (transportation infrastructure, agricultural infrastructure, medical infrastructure, educational infrastructure, housing, social housing, urban areas, industrial parks, etc.) and works and projects using all sources of capital (public investment, private investment, FDI capital, etc.).
