According to the update at 11am, the prices of gold bars and gold rings at some major brands such as SJC and Phu Quy all recorded significant increases, attracting many people to shop early to avoid further price increases.

At SJC Gold and Gemstone Group, the price of gold bars was listed at VND88.1 - 90.6 million/tael for buying and selling, an increase of VND300,000 compared to the previous session. SJC gold rings were also not out of the uptrend when they jumped to VND88.1 - 90.1 million/tael, VND1.4 million/tael higher than the morning of February 3.
Meanwhile, at Phu Quy Group, the price of round gold rings fluctuates at 88.1 million VND/tael when buying and 90.1 million VND/tael when selling. The price of SJC gold bars of this brand is 87.8 million VND/tael when buying and 90.3 million VND/tael when selling.
Although it is not yet the God of Wealth's day, according to the reporter of Cong Thuong Newspaper, many gold shops on major streets such as Tran Nhan Tong, Hang Bac, Cau Giay (Hanoi) are bustling with customers coming to make transactions.

At Phu Quy store on Cau Giay street, the number of customers waiting in line to buy gold is quite large. Ms. Khanh Van (Cau Giay district) shared: "I took the opportunity to buy gold early because I was worried that the price of gold would continue to increase on the God of Wealth day. Moreover, buying early also helps to avoid the crowds."
Mr. Luong Ngoc (Thanh Xuan district) chose to invest in gold mascots pressed in blister packs. “I bought Phu Quy’s 2025 mascot gold coins because there was no processing fee, and the gold price was calculated based on 999.9 gold rings. The design is beautiful and in line with feng shui, so it is worth buying.” – he said.

According to Bao Tin Minh Chau, domestic gold prices in this morning's trading session continued to increase in both buying and selling directions compared to yesterday's closing price.
"According to our records, at Bao Tin Minh Chau's business establishments, this morning the number of customers buying and selling has a ratio of (55% buying customers and 60% selling customers)" - Bao Tin Minh Chau representative shared.
Giving advice to investors and people buying gold near the God of Wealth day, a representative of Bao Tin Minh Chau said: "The gold market fluctuates unpredictably, so our experts advise investors and people to consider carefully before trading and regularly monitor gold prices on official channels to make the most correct decisions."
On the international market, at 10:26 (Vietnam time), the spot gold price reached 2,820.30 USD/ounce, up 5.10 USD/ounce compared to the previous session. Gold futures contracts traded at 2,850.6 USD/ounce, up 15.6 USD/ounce.
The world gold price continues to stay high, along with the soaring demand for gold in the country, experts predict that the gold price will fluctuate in the coming days. Buyers should consider choosing between gold rings, gold bars or mascot gold depending on their investment needs and personal feng shui.
