Specifically, DOJI Group and Saigon Jewelry Company SJC listed the price of gold bars at 115.5-118.0 million VND/tael (buy - sell), an increase of 2.5 million VND/tael in both directions compared to yesterday. The difference between buying and selling prices remained at 2.5 million VND/tael.
At Mi Hong Jewelry Company, the price of Mi Hong gold at the time of survey was listed at 118-121 million VND/tael for buying and selling. Compared to yesterday, the gold price increased by 500,000 VND/tael for selling and remained unchanged for buying compared to yesterday.
SJC gold price at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited is traded by businesses at 115.5-118 million VND/tael (buy - sell), an increase of 3 million VND/tael for buying and 2.5 million VND/tael for selling, compared to yesterday.

Regarding ring gold, the price of SJC 99.99% ring gold (0.3 chi, 0.5 chi, 1 chi, 2 chi, 5 chi) reached 114.0-117.0 million VND/tael (buy - sell), an increase of 3.5 million VND/tael in both directions. 99.99% jewelry gold recorded 114.0-116.4 million VND/tael (buy - sell), an increase of 3.5 million VND/tael in both directions.
The price of PNJ 999.9 plain gold rings, Kim Bao 999.9 gold and Phuc Loc Tai 999.9 gold all reached 114.0-117.0 million VND/tael (buy - sell), increasing by 3.5 million VND/tael and 3.4 million VND/tael respectively.
Vietinbank Gold announced the selling price of gold at 118.0 million VND/tael, an increase of 2.5 million VND/tael compared to yesterday.

The world gold price has reached an all-time high, surpassing 3,300 USD/ounce, up 3.5% compared to early 2025 and showing no signs of stopping in the context of widespread depreciation of the USD, uncertainty from tariff announcements and concerns about a global economic recession.
Spot gold fell about 0.8% to $3,316.88 an ounce today, while U.S. gold futures also fell 0.5% to $3,330.60 an ounce. However, gold still rose more than 2% this week, showing that the appeal of the precious metal remains strong.
Alexander Zumpfe, precious metals trader at Heraeus Metals Germany, said the fall in gold prices was mainly due to short-term profit-taking after last week’s strong rally. The temporary stabilization of US bond yields and a slight recovery in the US dollar also contributed to the fall in gold prices.
Mr. Zumpfe said the market is in a wait-and-see mode for more clarity on tariff policies and comments from central banks, which has prompted some investors to take profits. However, these are only short-term fluctuations, and gold is still considered a safe choice in the context of global financial market uncertainty.
