Today, the market recorded a strong increase in the price of gold rings.

This morning, Doji Gold and Gemstone Group raised the price of 9999 gold rings to 88.3-89.3 million VND/tael (buy - sell), an increase of 300 thousand VND per tael in both buying and selling compared to the end of yesterday's trading session.

This afternoon, Doji adjusted the price of gold rings up by 300 thousand VND per tael in both directions, to 88.6-89.6 million VND/tael (buy - sell). This is the highest price of gold rings in the country ever.

Thus, today, the price of gold rings at Doji increased by a total of 600 thousand VND per tael in both directions compared to yesterday's closing price.

Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC) this morning listed the price of gold rings type 1-5 at only 87-88.8 million VND/tael (buy - sell), unchanged in the buying direction but increased 300 thousand VND in the selling direction compared to the end of yesterday's trading session.

This afternoon, SJC raised the price of 1-5 chi gold rings to 87.5-89 million VND/tael (buy - sell), an increase of 500 thousand VND in buying and 200 thousand VND more expensive in selling compared to this morning.

In total today, the price of gold rings at SJC is 500 thousand VND more expensive per tael in both directions compared to the closing price yesterday.

Similarly, Phu Nhuan Jewelry Company (PNJ) raised the price of plain gold rings to 88.4-89.5 million VND/tael (buy - sell), an increase of 600 thousand VND per tael in both directions compared to the closing price yesterday.

Bao Tin Minh Chau Company also adjusted the price of Thang Long dragon gold rings to increase by 600 thousand VND in both buying and selling compared to yesterday's closing price, to 88.58-89.58 million VND/tael.

Meanwhile, the price of SJC gold bars this afternoon was adjusted up by 1 million VND per tael in both buying and selling, to 88-90 million VND/tael (buying - selling), after many days of being bought - sold at the price range of 87-89 million VND/tael.

The selling price of gold rings is currently 400,000 VND to 1 million VND per tael lower than that of SJC gold bars.

The buying price of gold rings at SJC is 500 thousand VND lower than that of gold bars. The buying price of gold rings at other businesses is 400-600 thousand VND higher than that of SJC gold bars per tael.

Domestic gold prices increased following the international gold price. The world gold price increased rapidly today and at one point set a new record at over 2,780 USD/ounce.

At 6:03 p.m. today (October 30, Vietnam time), the world spot gold price was at 2,779.4 USD/ounce.

The world gold price converted according to Vietcombank's selling rate is equivalent to nearly 86.2 million VND per tael (including taxes and fees). Currently, the difference between the price of SJC gold bars and the world gold price is 3.8 million VND per tael.
