80 students from grades 1 to 5 who are ethnic minorities studying at primary, secondary and high schools in Dak Nong province participated.

Students compete in 3 parts: beautiful handwriting, greetings and creativity based on pictures.

In the calligraphy section, students write a poem or short paragraph as specified by the Organizing Committee with content according to each grade level within 30 minutes.

Greeting contest, in 7 minutes, through performances such as: drama, folk songs, poems, singing, dancing, storytelling,... teams introduce members, typical cultural features of their ethnic group, school, and beautiful local landscapes.

Creative competition based on pictures, teams observe the painting, then discuss to write a short paragraph or tell a story about the landscape, activities, festivals, environmental protection, education about behavior, etc. related to that painting.

After 3 exciting rounds, the Organizing Committee awarded the best gold cup to the Department of Education and Training of Gia Nghia city and certificates to 80 excellent candidates participating in the contest.

The exchange is a playground and opportunity for ethnic minority students to expand their Vietnamese communication environment, while also spreading the work of enhancing Vietnamese for ethnic minority students at primary school level.
