Pig price today January 24, 2025: Slight decrease across the board

Pig price today, January 24, 2025, recorded a slight decrease in some provinces and cities, in which the Northern region no longer has a price of 69,000 VND/kg.

Northern region

The price of live pigs today (January 24, 2025) in the Northern region recorded a slight decrease in Hanoi and Bac Giang, both down 1,000 VND/kg to 68,000 VND/kg. These are the two localities that have maintained the highest price of live pigs in the region at 69,000 VND/kg in recent times.

Currently, the price of live pigs in the Northern region fluctuates between 67,000 - 68,000 VND/kg. In particular, Lao Cai, Nam Dinh and Ninh Binh provinces are the localities selling live pigs at the lowest price in the region, at 67,000 VND/kg.

Central Highlands region

Similarly, the price of live pigs today (January 24, 2025) in the Central Highlands region simultaneously decreased by 1,000 VND/kg in the provinces of Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue and Quang Nam.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this region fluctuates between 66,000 - 68,000 VND/kg. Of which, the three provinces of Lam Dong, Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan are the localities with the highest price of live pigs in the region, reaching 68,000 VND/kg. In contrast, the lowest transaction price of 66,000 VND/kg appeared in the two provinces of Binh Dinh and Khanh Hoa.

Southern region

The price of live pigs in the Southern region today (January 24, 2025) also recorded a slight decrease in Dong Nai, Kien Giang and Tien Giang provinces, all down 1,000 VND/kg, bringing the price of live pigs to 68,000 VND/kg and 67,000 VND/kg, respectively.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this region is still fluctuating between 67,000 - 69,000 VND/kg. Of which, Tay Ninh, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Long An, Dong Thap and Ca Mau are the provinces with the highest price of live pigs in the region, reaching 69,000 VND/kg. On the other hand, Tra Vinh and Hau Giang have the price of live pigs reaching 67,000 VND/kg, the lowest in the region.

In general, the price of live pigs today (January 24, 2025) in some provinces and cities decreased slightly (1,000 VND/kg). Currently, the price of live pigs is being traded in the range of 66,000 - 69,000 VND/kg.
