According to information from Giacaphe.com, at 4:30 a.m. today, March 7, 2025, coffee prices in the Central Highlands region suddenly turned down, decreasing by 700 - 1,000 VND/kg, currently the average purchase price is at 133,900 VND/kg.
Specifically, today's coffee price in Dak Lak is 134,000 VND/kg, coffee price in Lam Dong is 133,000 VND/kg, coffee price in Gia Lai is 133,800 VND/kg and coffee price in Dak Nong today is 134,000 VND/kg.
The domestic coffee prices that Giacaphe.com lists every day are calculated based on the prices of two world coffee exchanges combined with continuous surveys from businesses and purchasing agents in key coffee growing areas across the country.

With the recent consecutive ups and downs, the coffee market has been unpredictable. Therefore, coffee prices may decrease in the next trading sessions.
According to experts, coffee prices have increased sharply in recent times thanks to many supporting factors. First of all, coffee inventories on ICE exchanges have decreased sharply, with Arabica inventories hitting a 9-month low, while Robusta inventories have also continuously decreased. This has increased concerns about supply.
In addition, the supply situation from two major producing countries, Brazil and Vietnam, also affects prices. Brazilian farmers are limiting sales due to the depreciation of the Real, while in Vietnam, coffee is entering the final stages of the harvest, slowing down supply.
The market was also supported by buying from investment funds, as many investors believe that coffee prices can continue to remain high in the coming time. In particular, dry weather in Brazil is raising concerns about the upcoming crop, adding to the upward pressure on prices.
In another development, the imposition of tariffs on Mexico in the US has caused concern in the market, because in 2024, Mexico was the 5th largest coffee exporter to the US with a volume of 94,919 tons, accounting for 5.8% of the total coffee import volume of the world's largest economy. Therefore, this new tax could increase coffee prices for US consumers.
