Silver price today March 31: Market little fluctuation

Domestic silver price

Today's silver price in the domestic market was slightly adjusted down by Phu Quy Gold and Gemstone Group and listed at 1,308,000 VND/tael (buy) and 1,348,000 VND/tael (sell) in Hanoi.

In addition, according to a survey at other trading locations in Hanoi, domestic silver prices are stable in both buying and selling directions, currently listed at VND 1,064,000/tael (buy) and VND 1,094,000/tael (sell).

In Ho Chi Minh City, silver prices are stable, currently at VND1,066,000/tael (buy) and VND1,100,000/tael (sell).

World silver price

World silver prices have turned down, currently at 873,000 VND/ounce (buy) and 878,000 VND/ounce (sell).

In the world market, the silver price listed on Goldprice.org is at 34.04 USD/ounce; unchanged from yesterday's trading session.

According to Kitco, silver has recently begun to attract attention as more and more users on X (Twitter) have called for a "silver squeeze" (SilverSqueeze2.0) on March 31.

The movement stems from the belief that silver prices are being manipulated in the futures market, keeping prices depressed despite factors such as rising inflation, high physical demand, supply shortages and strong gold prices all supporting higher silver prices.

Supporters of the movement believe that if there is a mass buying and no selling even if there is a negative market reaction, silver prices could break out of resistance and trigger a new bull cycle.
