In particular, for rice, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang province, currently, IR 504 raw rice has increased by 100 VND, fluctuating at 7,700-7,800 VND/kg compared to before Tet; IR 504 finished rice fluctuates at 9,500-9,700 VND/kg; OM 380 raw rice has increased by 100 VND, fluctuating at 7,400-7,500 VND/kg compared to before Tet; OM 380 finished rice fluctuates at 8,800-9,000 VND/kg.
For by-products, the price of by-products fluctuates from 5,500 - 7,300 VND/kg. Currently, the price of broken rice fluctuates at 7,100 - 7,300 VND/kg; the price of dry bran decreased by 100 VND, fluctuating at 5,500 - 5,600 VND/kg compared to before Tet.
Recorded in localities today, the amount of rice arriving is sporadically, buying and selling transactions are slow. In Sa Dec (Dong Thap), the amount of rice arriving is sporadically, transactions are few; rice of all kinds is relatively stable, warehouses are regularly purchased.
