That is the motto of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style that teachers at Nam Luc Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, Nam Luc Commune (Bac Ha District) have been implementing for many years, contributing to improving the quality of teaching and learning in the school.
The school's Party cell currently has 21 party members out of a total of 33 cadres, teachers and staff. In order for studying and following Uncle Ho to become a regular and continuous activity for every teacher and student, the Party cell and the school's Board of Directors have associated the implementation of Conclusion 01-KL/TW dated May 18, 2021 on continuing to implement Directive 05 of the Politburo on promoting studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle with the implementation of the movements "Emulating good teaching, good learning", "Each teacher is an example of morality, self-study and creativity".
Talking to us, teacher Do Kim Cuong, Party Cell Secretary, Principal of Nam Luc Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, said: Every year, the Party Cell, together with the school's Board of Directors, organizes for cadres, party members, and school staff to register to study and follow Uncle Ho through specific actions, in accordance with the functions and tasks of each individual and the common tasks of the collective. Through emulation periods such as November 20, first semester summary, March 26, and school year summary, the groups report to the Party Cell on the results achieved, point out limitations, and propose solutions to do better in the following school years.
A typical example is teacher Nguyen Thi Ha Linh, a Science teacher who is always exemplary and takes the lead in all school activities, and is always interested in, learning from, and helping colleagues, building and implementing group and school topics to solve difficulties and problems of teachers and students.
When assigned the task of training key students in grades 4 and 5 and nurturing the team to participate in the Vietnamese Champion Contest for grades 4 and 5; students taking the entrance exam for grade 6 of the district boarding school in the 2023-2024 school year, teacher Linh coordinated with homeroom teachers of each class, selected students to participate in the review and developed a training program suitable for each student. As a result, 8 of Ms. Linh's students won prizes in the district-level Vietnamese Champion Contest (2 Second Prizes, 6 Consolation Prizes); 5 students won prizes in the provincial-level Vietnamese Champion Contest (1 Third Prize, 4 Consolation Prizes).
Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style has become a regular and continuous task of every cadre, party member, teacher and staff member of Nam Luc Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities.
The school's education quality is increasingly improved. Through the first semester summary of the 2023-2024 school year, the rate of good capacity reached 61.7%; good character reached 61.7%; teachers and students won more than 40 prizes in competitions organized by the provincial and district education and training sector; mobilizing 6-year-old children to enter grade 1 reached 100%; 100% of school-age students went to school; attendance rate reached 98%...
In the coming time, the school's Party Cell will continue to build and foster advanced models, propose to the Party Committee and authorities at all levels to promptly reward Party members who have well implemented Directive 05 to encourage and motivate, creating a strong spread of the movement to study and follow Uncle Ho's teachings.
