On the afternoon of February 7, Thieu Hoa district held a ceremony to launch the Le Van Huu Scholarship Fund; commend and reward teachers and students who achieved achievements in the excellent student selection exam for the 2024-2025 school year and launch the 2025 Scholarship Festival.
In recent years, thanks to the attention and care of Party committees, authorities and people at all levels, the quality of education in Thieu Hoa district has made remarkable changes. Key education has achieved good results, ranking among the top in the province. The passing rate of grade 10 high schools is 87% or higher; the number of students admitted to Lam Son High School for the Gifted is increasing, among the top in the province. For 3 consecutive years, the district has had valedictorians at Lam Son High School for the Gifted. In 2024-2025, 17 students were admitted to Lam Son High School for the Gifted, ranking 4th out of 27 districts, towns and cities. Every year, the passing rate of high school graduates is 99% or higher; the district has 2 teachers recognized by the State Council as Excellent Teachers.

In the 2024-2025 school year, 125 Thieu Hoa students won prizes at provincial and national level competitions; of which, high school students won 98 prizes, middle school students won 32 prizes for excellent students at the provincial level, 3 students are children of Thieu Hoa studying at Lam Son High School for the Gifted and won prizes for excellent students at the national level. This is the second consecutive year that Thieu Hoa has excellent students at the national level.
Leaders of Thieu Hoa district and the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education presented the decision and flowers to the Management Board of the Le Van Huu Promotion of Education Fund.
The Le Van Huu Scholarship and Talent Promotion Fund was granted an operating license by the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee from August 2024, aiming to mobilize finance to reward students and teachers with excellent achievements, and support poor students to overcome difficulties and study well. The Fund operates under the supervision of the District People's Committee and related units, has legal status, seal, bank account and operates on the principles of voluntariness, autonomy and self-responsibility.
Hero of Labor Le Van Tam, Honorary Chairman of the Le Van Huu Scholarship Fund donated 500 million VND to the fund.
At the launching ceremony, Labor Hero Le Van Tam was honored as the Honorary Chairman of the Fund. Organizations and individuals donated nearly 1.2 billion VND to the fund.
Teachers with achievements in training excellent students are commended and rewarded.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thieu Hoa district awarded certificates of merit and prizes to 24 teachers and 125 students with high achievements in the national excellent student competition and provincial excellent student competition in the 2024-2025 school year; awarded commemorative medals for the cause of promoting learning to 11 comrades.
