Samsung revealed that the Galaxy S25 Edge will be an ultra-thin phone. Although the company has not revealed many details, leaked information has given users an idea of this device.
Leaker Max Jambor said that the Galaxy S25 Edge will launch in April or May 2025 and Samsung seems to be focusing on optimizing the production process before officially launching this device.
Unlike the Galaxy Z Fold SE, which is limited to the domestic Korean market, the S25 Edge is expected to be available in the US. This is Samsung's strategy to expand its reach to international users.
Samsung’s focus on a slimmer design for the S25 Edge suggests it’s trying to strike a balance between phone performance and aesthetics, but it’s unclear whether these changes will impact important factors like battery life or heat dissipation.
According to the latest reports, the device has a 6.7-inch screen and is impressively thin at 5.84 mm. This number will make the S25 Edge one of the thinnest smartphones Samsung has ever produced.
The S25 Edge is said to be equipped with a 200MP main camera, 50MP secondary camera, and 12MP selfie camera, providing high-quality images. The device also uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC chip with 12GB of Ram, ensuring powerful performance. The device has a 120Hz LTPO screen with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, providing a smooth display experience and high durability. At the same time, the device is powered by a 3,900 mAh battery and 25W fast charging.
The Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to be priced between the S25 Plus (starting at $1,000) and the S25 Ultra (starting at $1,300).
