Ha Giang: Tourist boats on Nho Que River, taking visitors to the famous Tu San Gorge, have stopped operating since this morning due to disagreements about "benefit sharing".
On the evening of September 15, Tu San Agricultural and Tourism Service Cooperative announced that it would stop transporting tourists on Nho Que 1 Hydropower Reservoir because the Cooperative had not yet agreed on a temporary management plan for inland waterway transport activities serving tourists within the Nho Que 1 Hydropower Reservoir, and had not yet signed or renewed a passenger transport contract with Nho Que 1 Hydropower Joint Stock Company.
Therefore, from 0:00 on September 16, the Cooperative will temporarily stop transporting tourists to visit Tu San Alley by tourist boat on Nho Que River until further notice.

Nho Que 1 Hydropower Reservoir is the only area for tourists to visit Tu San Alley by tourist boat. Tu San Agricultural and Tourism Service Cooperative is the only unit operating tourist boats in this area.
Responding to VnExpress , a representative of the Meo Vac District People's Committee said the district did not instruct the cooperative to temporarily stop transporting tourists to visit Tu San Alley. On September 15, the district People's Committee issued a document approving the extension of the passenger transport contract between the two units from September 16 to December 31. However, the cooperative made the above announcement on its own, which "shocked" the Meo Vac District People's Committee. The representative of the district People's Committee added that the real reason for this temporary suspension of passenger transport was that the two parties could not agree on the issue of "sharing benefits".
A representative of the Meo Vac District People's Committee said that on the morning of September 16, the leaders of the Meo Vac District People's Committee worked with the Cooperative and Nho Que 1 Hydropower Joint Stock Company. However, the two sides have not yet found a common voice. Therefore, at least until September 16, tourists will not be able to visit Tu San Alley by tourist boat on the Nho Que River.
"We will try our best to resolve this issue soon, to avoid affecting tourists," said the district leader.
