Coffee price forecast tomorrow March 19, 2025 downward trend.

Adverse weather in Vietnam, Brazil, South and Central America has reduced coffee yields, limited supply, increased demand… will continue to support coffee prices at least in the short term.

Experts say that coffee prices in the world and domestically have continuously increased since the beginning of the year and set new records due to concerns about falling supplies in Brazil and Vietnam, the world's two leading producing countries.

Meanwhile, the National Coffee Association (NCA) has called on the Trump administration to exempt coffee from tariffs, warning that additional tariffs on Canada and Mexico could push up coffee prices in the US by as much as 50%.

The NCA currently has more than 200 members, including coffee importers, exporters, traders, brokers, roasters and retailers. According to the association, the coffee industry contributes $343 billion to the US economy each year, with about 75% of Americans being regular coffee drinkers.

The United States is currently the world's largest importer and consumer of coffee. Brazil is the largest supplier of coffee to the US market, in addition to significant imports from Colombia and other Central and South American countries. The US government is currently negotiating with a number of countries in the region on this issue.

In Vietnam, coffee prices continued to rise early this year due to concerns about supply shortages. The Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association (Vicofa) said that coffee output in the 2024-2025 crop year is expected to decrease by 5% compared to the previous crop year to about 27 million bags. Currently, Vietnam's coffee exports have shifted towards increasing the proportion of deeply processed products.
