The predicted benchmark scores of Hanoi University of Science and Technology in 2023 based on the thinking assessment test scores method given by the school are as follows:
Forecast of Hanoi University of Science and Technology's benchmark scores 2023. |
Associate Professor Tran Trung Kien, Head of Admissions Department of Hanoi University of Science and Technology, predicts that Computer Science (IT1), Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (IT-E10) will have the highest admission scores based on the results of the 2023 thinking assessment test.
This prediction result is based on the score distribution and the trend of choosing majors of candidates.
The predicted benchmark score is on a scale of 100, including the thinking assessment score, priority points (regional and subject points) and bonus points (IELTS). The quality assurance threshold for the method of considering by thinking assessment score of Hanoi University of Science and Technology is expected to be 50 points.
Computer Science (IT1), Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (IT-E10) are predicted to have the highest benchmark score, over 72 points. Following are Computer Engineering (IT2), Global ICT (IT-E7), Cybersecurity - Advanced Program (IT-E15) with benchmark scores of 68 - 72. The remaining majors range from 50 - 68 points.
Associate Professor Tran Trung Kien said that candidates with admission scores within the predicted standard score range can confidently register for the school's corresponding training programs.
However, according to Mr. Kien, this predicted benchmark is only for reference and to support candidates in the registration process. Candidates can apply for admission to training programs with predicted benchmarks higher than their expected admission scores.
Mr. Kien said: "For example, candidates with an admission score of 55 - 56 can apply for majors with higher predicted benchmark scores such as EE-E8 or MI1".
The predicted score range is based on the score distribution, the number of candidates from two exam rounds, and surveys and calculations on the trend of choosing admission combinations, the level of interest in majors, and the shift of majors and fields.
The final round of the 2023 Thinking Assessment Test will take place on July 8. This round will have the participation of nearly 9,000 candidates - the largest number of the 3 rounds this year.
This year, the total enrollment target of Hanoi University of Science and Technology is 7,985 students, of which 15-20% will be selected based on talent selection, 85-90% will be selected based on high school graduation exam scores and thinking assessment exams.
