Located nearly 200km from Hanoi, Moc Chau is considered one of the attractive tourist destinations in the North, especially during the plum blossom season at the beginning of the year.

This year, plum blossoms bloom in Mu Nau valley, Na Ka, Pa Phach village, Ngu Dong Ban On plum forest... attracting many tourists from all over to admire.

Despite the cold of 8 degrees Celsius and drizzle, tourists still flocked to Moc Chau to hunt for plum blossoms, causing many roads from the center to flower viewing spots to be congested for kilometers.

The sudden increase in the number of visitors on weekends has overloaded all services here, from food to accommodation. Ms. Yen’s group (35 years old, Hung Yen) had to wander around for more than 10 km, going to the third restaurant to find a breakfast restaurant with available space.

"If tourists want to admire the brilliant plum blossom season, they should plan to go to Moc Chau early. It is best not to go on weekends to avoid traffic jams and crowds," said Mr. Tieu Bao, owner of a plum garden in Moc Chau.

"I have been to Moc Chau in the plum blossom season in previous years, but the flowers did not bloom as profusely as this year. The plum branches blooming white as snow in the Na Ka plum valley made my family and friends fascinated, making it worth the long journey in the cold rain to get here," said Ms. Nguyen Ha, a tourist from Hanoi.

Mr. An, wearing a special ao dai embroidered with a snake motif, traveled nearly 2,000 km from Saigon to Bao Bao plum valley to hunt for plum blossoms. "For two consecutive years, I flew out to hunt for plum blossoms. This year, the plum blossoms are blooming the most beautifully in many years, so I couldn't miss it," said Mr. An.

Rental services of ethnic costumes and flower baskets are also fully prepared by garden owners to meet customers' needs.

Not only admiring the plum blossom season, many tourists coming to Moc Chau this time also experience camping and lighting a fire overnight in the plum garden. Mr. Chu Duc Viet's family had a memorable camping trip, enjoying the feeling of immersing themselves in the fresh air and full of spring flowers.
