Sharing with Tien Phong , Mr. Huynh Thanh Binh - Secretary of Lien Chieu District Youth Union said that the District Youth Union has coordinated with related units to launch the program "Letter to new soldiers" at 18 primary and secondary schools in the area.

Within 20 days, the Military Command and Lien Chieu District Youth Union received more than 2,000 letters and drawings with wishes and gratitude from students to new recruits.

In a letter to the new recruits, Hoang Minh Khue (class 5/4, Trung Nu Vuong Primary School) expressed: “You are the country’s outstanding children, ready to put aside your own dreams to set out on a sacred mission – protecting the Fatherland. Mr. Binh added that after receiving thousands of letters and drawings, the District Youth Union selected nearly 300, attached them to gifts to send to new soldiers leaving for military service.
