The beauty of the season
Mixed with the yellow of old time in the rammed earth houses are the pink and white colors of peach blossoms, plum blossoms, and pear blossoms, all full of vitality. There is also the modest beauty of the fields covered with buckwheat flowers.
Time seemed to flow on each stone slab. On the way from Dong Van to Meo Vac, we were able to admire the natural scenery.
Along the way, the lush green mustard fields and pretty wildflowers look like a painting made from dew drops on the grass. There are hills covered with buckwheat flowers with tiny purple-pink and white petals - a modest beauty amidst the vast mountains and forests.
Our car had to stop after a while because everyone wanted to take in all the beauty of the season with all their senses. We walked on the hill among the buckwheat flower beds in full bloom, feeling like those flowers, full of life.
The seasons of white flowers and plum blossoms are the privileges of the climate and land of Moc Chau. We followed the trail between the white mustard valley leading to Thong Cuong village, Pa Phach. The people living in the village are mainly Mong people.
Both sides of the road are very beautiful. At the end of the year, the rape flowers are gone but the apricot flowers are still everywhere. The wild beauty of this place captivates people. At the end of the village, there is a tall cotton tree reaching up to the deep blue sky. The tree's tilted shape casts a shadow on the foot of the hill, creating a mysterious scene. Here, the sky and the earth seem to be connected.
Standing halfway up the mountain looking down at Pa Phach village, I felt so peaceful. Apricot and plum trees had few flowers left but the new spring buds were green. Herds of cows walked leisurely on the path in the middle of the valley. Ethnic girls walked slowly with baskets on their backs. Mothers sat in front of their houses breastfeeding their children. Black children with red cheeks ran and played in the fields. Smoke from the kitchens rose high.
In Quang Nam, the “Tam Ky Sua Flower Season” festival has been taking shape for many years, considered an opportunity for Tam Ky to promote and introduce Sua flowers - the city's typical flower to domestic and foreign tourists; at the same time, forming a destination and a typical tourism product of Tam Ky associated with the development orientation of the southern tourism chain of the province. In addition, the red parasol flower season festival in Cu Lao Cham also contributes to increasing the number of visitors to this green island.
Travel by flower season
Many travel agencies said that, if in the past, tourists who went on tours often only knew about traditional routes with journeys to explore the land and people, now, in tour advertising programs, each season there are a few routes introducing destinations associated with flowers and flower festivals.
In Moc Chau, there are many mustard gardens serving the photography needs of tourists. The white mustard flower season in Moc Chau is what attracts tourists to come. Along with the climate of the North in early winter, the native flowers are raised to the level of festivals, adding highlights to the journey to the North.
A representative of Saigon Tourist Company said that the time when special flower seasons in regions across the country are in full bloom, such as buckwheat flower season in Ha Giang, white mustard flower season in Moc Chau, plum and peach blossoms on the Northwest routes, Da Lat flower festival... are all introduced to the unit's routes. Many travel agencies have also organized flower-based tours for many years.
Not only do domestic flower seasons appear in destination advertisements, flower festivals around the world such as cherry blossoms in Japan, Korea, the US; tulip festivals in the Netherlands, Canada... have now become familiar to many Vietnamese tourists. Choosing a time to travel that coincides with the blooming season, according to travel agencies, will make tourists' emotions sublime. Because flowers are inherently a symbol of beauty, they will make each trip more beautiful...
The villages in the Northwest and Northeast highlands, if you are willing to go deep into the mountains, the scenery becomes even more beautiful.
