Close and move the southern inter-provincial bus station of Nha Trang to a new location

According to the provincial Department of Transport, the Southern Nha Trang inter-provincial bus station will officially operate and serve at the new bus station, located at the intersection of Vo Nguyen Giap Street, Trung Nam village, Dien Toan commune, from April 1, 2024.

According to Director of Khanh Hoa Province Department of Transport Nguyen Van Dan, the department is proposing that the province use part of the area and old facilities of the Southern Nha Trang interprovincial bus station to create a Traffic Operations Center.

The Southern Nha Trang Interprovincial Bus Station of Khanh Hoa Bus Station and Transport Services Joint Stock Company is the station with the largest volume of imported and exported vehicles in the province.

According to the first quarter 2024 bus schedule announced by the Department of Transport, each month there are a total of 2,520 bus trips departing from the southern inter-provincial bus station of Nha Trang to bus stations in Ho Chi Minh City (Mien Dong, Nga Tu Ga and An Suong bus stations).

Regarding the scale of the new facility of the Southern Nha Trang inter-provincial bus station, according to the investment approval decision of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, the construction area is nearly 4.2 hectares (phase 1 is more than 2.1 hectares).

The current Southern Nha Trang interprovincial bus station (area of ​​more than 2.1 hectares) has been recognized as meeting the standards of a type 1 station.

The new bus station has many service items, such as: operator building, ticket office, pick-up and drop-off lot, parking lot for waiting to pick up passengers, parking lot for other types of vehicles, 2-wheel garage, maintenance and car wash house and many auxiliary and transportation support items.

Keep the registered departure time at the Southern Nha Trang interprovincial bus station

Regarding the routes and itineraries of registered passenger transport business units, according to the Department of Transport of Khanh Hoa province, "the departure times for fixed passenger transport routes currently operating at the Southern Nha Trang bus station (old station) will be maintained to operate at the Southern inter-provincial bus station (new station)".

For bus routes departing from the new Southern Nha Trang interprovincial bus station, they will follow the new route and no longer have to follow 23/10 Street. That is, departing from the Southern interprovincial bus station and going straight to National Highway 1 and vice versa.
