At the meeting, Head of the Central Economic Commission Tran Tuan Anh expressed his joy at welcoming the typical representatives of the ethnic minority areas of Bac Kan province to visit the capital Hanoi. He emphasized that during the resistance war, the ethnic minorities promoted the tradition of patriotism and solidarity under the leadership of the Party. During the period of national construction and defense, despite many difficulties, the ethnic minorities were determined to rise up strongly, join hands, and contribute to building the homeland and the country. After nearly 40 years of comprehensive renovation, our country has achieved great achievements. In particular, ethnic minorities play a very important role, contributing to the stability and overall development of the country...

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, comrade Tran Tuan Anh acknowledged and commended the prestigious people, village chiefs and typical examples of ethnic minority areas in Bac Kan province who have made important contributions to socio-economic development, ensuring security and order in Bac Kan province; always being exemplary in implementing, propagating, mobilizing and persuading people to comply with the Party's policies and the State's laws, reducing poverty and building new rural areas; as well as preserving and promoting the cultural identities of ethnic groups, contributing to the successful implementation of the Party's policy of great solidarity among ethnic groups and the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term.

Comrade Tran Tuan Anh suggested that Bac Kan province focus on successfully implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress; effectively organizing the implementation of the Ethnic Strategy for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2045; continuing to raise awareness of Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front and mass organizations on ethnic groups and ethnic work. At the same time, the province needs to further promote the achievements of prestigious people to continue to propagate and mobilize ethnic people to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws, and preserve and promote the cultural identities of ethnic groups.
