(NADS) - Comrade Tran Thanh Lam, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, was mobilized and appointed to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
On March 14, Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee held a conference to implement the decision of the Central Party Secretariat on personnel work.
Attending the event were Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department; Mr. Mai Van Chinh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Organization Department; Mr. Lai Xuan Mon, Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, and Ms. Ho Thi Hoang Yen, Acting Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Ben Tre province.
At the conference, Mr. Mai Van Chinh announced the decision of the Central Party Secretariat to transfer and appoint Mr. Tran Thanh Lam, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department, sent his congratulations to Mr. Tran Thanh Lam.
Mr. Tran Thanh Lam is the head of the Central Youth Union's Propaganda Department.
"Comrade Tran Thanh Lam received basic training and participated in Youth Union activities from the grassroots to the Central Youth Union. After that, Comrade Lam participated in the fields of journalism and publishing, became the leader of a newspaper and worked at the Central Propaganda Department, advising on the fields of journalism - publishing, culture, literature and arts.
Up to now, the Secretariat has considered and decided to remove him from the position of Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department and transfer him to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
This is a process that has been carefully prepared by competent authorities regarding personnel work, with the consensus and support of the central government and the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee," said Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia.
Mr. Lam also promised the Party Committee, government and people of Ben Tre province that he will always strive, work hard, and constantly improve his political qualities; maintain moral qualities, a pure and exemplary lifestyle; actively research, learn and absorb the experiences of previous generations of leaders.
During his time working at the Central Propaganda Department, Comrade Tran Thanh Lam made many practical contributions to the development of Vietnamese journalism and literature and art. In particular, in the field of Photography, Comrade Thanh Lam also directed, advised, oriented and worked with the leaders of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists many times to find solutions and the right direction for Vietnamese Photography.
