Scientists contribute ideas at the seminar

The seminar was organized to improve the quality and efficiency in the implementation of the task of giving opinions on projects, programs, and plans for the socio-economic development of Hue city in the coming time. In order to continue to proactively innovate working methods in a more scientific and systematic way, the Association wishes to coordinate with professional member associations, affiliated scientific and technological organizations in consulting, criticizing, and social appraisal.

At the scientific seminar, the Union of Associations received comments from representatives of member associations, scientific and technological organizations on the draft "Regulations on coordination with member associations on consulting and reviewing projects, programs, and plans for socio-economic development" to issue a decision on the Regulations on coordination with member associations on consulting and reviewing.

On this occasion, the delegates also listened to reports on activities on social consulting, criticism and appraisal in the past time, introduced the regulations and summarized the results of comments from member associations, presentations by representatives of the leaders of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the City Party Committee, the Departments of Science and Technology, Agriculture and Environment... with the main contents: Participating in giving comments on the Coordination Regulations; proposing solutions to improve the quality of consulting, criticism and appraisal activities; proposing solutions to promote socio-economic development of Hue city in the new situation.

To date, the Association has gathered 51 member associations, 10 affiliated scientific and technological organizations with over 30,000 members. One of the key tasks that the Association has carried out in recent times is to organize consulting, criticism and social appraisal activities, contributing to building a scientific basis for planning projects, programs, plans, policies and strategies of the city on socio-economic development, science and technology, education and training, environmental protection, law-making, strengthening security and defense; participating in independent supervision of important economic and social topics, projects and programs.
