On the morning of December 21, on the occasion of Christmas 2023, comrade Truong Quoc Huy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation visited and congratulated Catholic dignitaries and compatriots at Yen My parish, Chuyen Ngoai commune, Duy Tien town.
Also attending were representatives of provincial departments, branches and sectors, and leaders of Duy Tien town.
At Yen My parish, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Truong Quoc Huy quickly announced some socio-economic development results of the province in 2023 and affirmed: In 2023, in the context of many fluctuations in the world situation, with consensus and high determination, the Party Committee, government and people of Ha Nam province have achieved many important results in all fields, the socio-economic situation of the province continues to be stable and develop. In that common development, there are contributions, joint efforts and hearts of dignitaries and parishioners, who have well implemented the policies and laws of the Party and State, and actively participated in local emulation movements.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the role and contributions of the parish priest and the dignitaries and monks in the parish who have done a good job of propagating and mobilizing parishioners to comply with the Party's guidelines and the State's laws and policies, promoting the spirit of "Good life, good religion", "respecting God - loving the country", building the great national unity bloc, actively participating in major local political events; accompanying and participating in building Duy Tien town, building Ha Nam province to become increasingly rich, beautiful and civilized.
In the joyful atmosphere of welcoming Christmas 2023, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the leaders of Duy Tien Town presented Father Pham Quang Dang, dignitaries and parishioners with a basket of flowers, wishing the priest and dignitaries, officials and parishioners a warm, peaceful, happy and blessed Christmas and New Year.
