The Vietnamese team had a pretty good match against China.

After this defeat, coach Troussier's team received a lot of criticism from fans at home and abroad.

Notably, some people expressed dissatisfaction with the way the Vietnamese team played and called for coach Park Hang-seo to return.

“Need the return of Coach Park Hang-seo,” Ngo Tien Dat commented under the article of ASEAN FOOTBALL page.

Another person was more harsh, saying that Vietnamese football is showing signs of decline after Coach Park's time and there needs to be a change in the coaching bench.

“The fate of national football cannot be easily compromised. For a year now, the national team has been playing like a team ranked 150th in the world. The coach needs to be changed,” another person expressed.

Meanwhile, a Malaysian Facebook account confidently asserted: "Malaysia is playing better than Vietnam."

“Vietnam used to be the leader of Southeast Asia, but not anymore,” another fan said. “Trust me, Vietnamese football is going downhill,” another continued.

Fans call for coach Park Hang-seo to return to lead the Vietnamese team.

Although losing 0-2 to China, it must be admitted that this was a match in which the Vietnamese team played not badly.

The white players controlled the midfield area quite well and attacked much more than the home team.

Therefore, besides negative comments, Hoang Duc and his teammates still received a lot of encouragement from fans.

“Vietnam did not play badly. Remember, this was just an experiment by the coach. Vietnam lost because of the experiment, not because of their class,” a fan commented.

“This lineup is just a test. Our main lineup is to prepare for the World Cup,” commented an account named Hieu.

According to the schedule, on October 13, Coach Troussier and his team will have a closed match with Uzbekistan in China.
