Vietnam team convincingly defeated Syria

The Syrian team is expected to bring many difficulties to the Vietnamese team in the match at Thien Truong Stadium. Coach Troussier created many surprises when he put Thai Son, Tuan Tai, and Van Tung in the starting lineup from the beginning. Striker Cong Phuong is also trusted to play against a strong opponent.

After the opening whistle, the Vietnamese team played impressively and completely controlled the game on the field. Young midfielder Thai Son had an impressive debut in the national team jersey. In the second half, Coach Troussier decided to bring Tuan Hai onto the field to increase the attacking power of the Vietnamese team. This adjustment immediately took effect. In the 49th minute, Nguyen Thai Son had a reasonable touch before Tuan Hai finished with a tricky shot from outside the penalty area to open the score for the home team.

With the goal, the Vietnamese team played with a relaxed mentality. Coach Troussier's students continued to control the midfield well. In the second half, the French coach created conditions for some reserve players such as Van Toan, Van Toan, Van Khang and Thanh Binh to play.
