Innovation and improvement of the quality of Association activities

Actively innovating the content and methods of operation to improve the quality and build the Association organization has been increasingly widely implemented by the Provincial Farmers' Association, contributing to the economic, cultural and social development goals of the province.

The Provincial Farmers' Association currently has nearly 200,000 members, operating in 2,187 branches. In recent years, the Farmers' Association at all levels in the province has closely coordinated with relevant departments, branches, sectors, and member organizations to implement Resolution No. 10-NQ/TU, dated February 8, 2021 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on "Promoting innovation in the content and methods of operation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations until 2025"; applying information technology and digital transformation in propaganda work; grasping the legitimate needs and aspirations of farmer members through digital platforms, contributing to the implementation of the Movement "All people protect national security"; "All people unite to build a cultural life" associated with the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas".

After more than 2 months of actively deploying the installation of the Vietnam Farmers' App, the Provincial Farmers' Association has created 226 administrator accounts, including 13 district-level administrators and 213 commune-level administrators. The whole province has more than 55,000 cadres and farmer members installing and activating the Vietnam Farmers' App, reaching 90% of the target assigned by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association. District-level units have proactively promoted and supported members to install and use the App, 100% of the Association's bases in the province have deployed it, creating an exciting atmosphere and enthusiastic participation of a large number of cadres and members. Comrade Nguyen Thi Anh Tan - Chairman of Phu Ninh District Farmers' Association said: Since the plan to deploy the installation of the Vietnam Farmers' App, the staff and members have been very excited when for the first time the Association has an official digital platform to connect members nationwide and update information on the Association's work promptly and vividly. Phu Ninh District Farmers' Association has deployed it early to its staff and members and has so far exceeded the target of the number of accounts installing the App assigned...

In addition, emulation movements for good production and business, and new rural construction (NTM) have been widely deployed, attracting a large number of members and farmers to participate. Through the movement, more and more models with large production scales, with business capital of tens of billions of VND, have appeared, creating stable jobs for many workers with an average income of 7-10 million VND/person/month. In the movement to build NTM, advanced NTM, and model NTM, the Association at all levels has mobilized members and farmers to donate over 110,000m2 of land, nearly 36,000 working days, participate in building and repairing 202km of rural roads, 183km of canals, 158 bridges and culverts, contributing over 25 billion VND.

From the beginning of 2024 to now, the Association at all levels has admitted over 1,200 new members, established 10 new professional farmer associations, 15 professional farmer association groups; organized training and fostering knowledge on agriculture, rural economy, and professional work of the Association for 651 full-time Association officials at all levels and 1,990 heads of farmers' associations; trained and improved the qualifications and skills of 2,880 excellent farmers, good farmers in production and business at district level and above.

Mr. Ly Quang Dai - Head of the Association Building Board, Provincial Farmers' Association said: In the coming time, the Association at all levels will continue to innovate the work of propaganda, mobilization, gathering, and uniting farmers, improving the effectiveness of emulation movements; focusing on consolidating and perfecting the organizational apparatus, building a team of Association officials with sufficient qualities and capacities to meet the requirements of the tasks; improving the quality of vocational training and fostering for farmers, rural workers and service activities, consulting, and supporting farmers in developing production and business. Encourage farmers to actively participate in national target programs, patriotic emulation movements, and campaigns; promote the role of the Farmers' Association in monitoring, social criticism, building a clean and strong Party and political system; proactively integrate, expand international cooperation, promote people-to-people diplomacy, contributing to building a comprehensively strong Provincial Farmers' Association, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new period...
