Dinh Thi Huong defeated Zefanya Ceyco Georgia (Indonesia) to win the bronze medal in the women's 68kg kumite category.

After being eliminated in the round of 16, 3 Vietnamese athletes moved down to the losers bracket to continue competing for the bronze medal. Tran Thi Anh and Nguyen Thi Xuan both failed. Only Nguyen Thi My Trang competed with Choe Hyo-gyong (North Korea) for the bronze medal in the women's 53kg category.

Nguyen Thi Phuong lost to Lau Mo Sheung Grace of Hong Kong (China) in the individual kata bronze medal match. The Vietnamese female martial artist scored 40.6 points, while her opponent scored 43.4 points.
Today, only Dinh Thi Huong has a chance to compete for the bronze medal in the Vietnamese karate team.
Ju-jitsu bronze medal
Phung Thi Hue defeated the Thai boxer to win the bronze medal in the women's 48kg category. The Vietnamese athlete had the same score as her opponent and won thanks to a 1-point advantage.

Dinh Thi Huong defeated Naser Nourallah (Jordan) in the 1/8 round qualifying match of the 68kg weight class. In the quarter-finals, the Vietnamese boxer lost to Alikul Laura (Kazakhstan). However, she was able to go straight to the bronze medal match.
Ju-jitsu: Phung Thi Hue wins bronze medal
Phung Thi Hue lost to Tan Pechrada Kacie (Thailand) in the quarter-finals of the women's 48kg category. In the bracket for athletes eliminated in the quarter-finals, the Vietnamese boxer defeated Rakhayeva Nazgul (Kazakhstan) and will meet Sugun Nutchaya in the bronze medal match.
Archery
This morning, the Vietnamese archery team continued to compete in the quarterfinals of the 3-string bow event. Facing a world-class opponent, South Korea, the Vietnamese archers could not create any surprises. Nguyen Thi Hai Chau, Le Pham Ngoc Anh, and Voong Phuong Thao lost 211-236 and were eliminated.

Can Van Thang defeated an Indian athlete in the round of 16 of the men's 62kg weight class, then lost to Khalid Al Blooshi (UAE) in the round of 16.
In the women's 48kg category, Phung Thi Hue defeated Teh May Yong (Singapore) in the round of 16.

This is not the main content of Vietnam's sepak takraw gold medal hunt at ASIAD 19, but athletes have the opportunity to compete for medals.

Pham Minh Duc passed round 1 with 40 points. However, in round 2, the Vietnamese athlete only scored 39.6 points and was eliminated.

Vietnamese athletes started competing in two performance events (kata). Pham Minh Duc registered for Chatanyara Kushanku. After the men's competitions, the women's competition took place.
Karate is one of the sports that the Vietnamese sports delegation hopes to win a gold medal at the 19th ASIAD. As of October 4, the Vietnamese delegation achieved its target with 2 gold medals (shooting, sepak takraw).
