During these April days, many people from all over the country have visited the Independence Palace (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City), where April 30, 50 years ago, marked the historic victory of the Ho Chi Minh Campaign and the unification of the country. In each person, there is a surge of pride and gratitude for the noble sacrifices of previous generations. Vu Thi Thuy Trang (teacher at Phuoc Tan 2 Primary School, Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai) said that this was the first time she wore Ao Dai to take photos at the Independence Palace, in the spirit of looking forward to the country's big holiday. “Not only me, but all the children living in Vietnam also feel the heroism of our ancestors and share the national pride. The previous generations sacrificed so that our young generation can have independence, freedom, peace and live in a full and dynamic environment today,” Thuy Trang confided. As a young person, Ngoc Giau (student of Nguyen Tat Thanh University) said, he wants to spread the message that today's young generation knows how to preserve the traditions left by their ancestors and is proud of their glorious history. From there, when meeting international friends coming to their country, each young person can proudly introduce "I am Vietnamese" and show pride in the glorious history that our ancestors have built. Ngoc Giau and her sister Thu Ha took a photo outside the Independence Palace.
Tu (a content creator) brought a floppy hat and a scarf to the Independence Palace to take souvenir photos. "I chose the ao dai and these accessories with the hope of spreading the national spirit and pride of being Vietnamese," the young girl shared. Tu and his friends checked in at the gate of the Independence Palace. Every young person today is filled with pride and respect for the country's history and the blood and bone sacrifices of many generations of ancestors.
Many young families have come to check in these past days to capture beautiful moments with the national flag. Ms. Ha Trang (living in Thu Duc City) and her family came to the Independence Palace to take some souvenir photos before the grand ceremony. She said that on April 30, her family will come here to watch the ceremony, but also wanted to take photos in advance to avoid the crowds near the grand ceremony. Tourists and international friends also joined in the bustling atmosphere welcoming the April 30th holiday of the Vietnamese people.
Also in the exciting atmosphere towards the country's great holiday, right at the Independence Palace, the agencies and departments of the Central Government and Ho Chi Minh City organized many art programs, traditional exchange programs with the participation of the heroes who made glorious victories in our nation's history.
