Participating in giving opinions on the draft Resolution on piloting the handling of evidence and assets during the investigation, prosecution and trial of a number of criminal cases, the National Assembly deputies agreed with the necessity of issuing the Resolution to ensure against "freezing" assets, loss and depreciation of the value of evidence and assets; promptly recovering money and assets for the State and remedying the consequences caused by criminal acts.

However, the provisions as stipulated in the draft Resolution are contrary to the principle of independent adjudication of the court as stated in the Constitution and the Criminal Procedure Code.
