On the afternoon of August 9, the delegation of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA) led by Professor, Dr. Le Van Loi, Deputy Director of the Academy, surveyed the socio-economic development situation in Thanh Hoa province since the beginning of the 13th National Congress term and the practical implementation of Resolution 35-NQ/TW of the Politburo on "Strengthening the protection of the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views in the new situation".

Receiving and working with the delegation from Thanh Hoa province were comrade Dao Xuan Yen, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the 35 Provincial Steering Committee; comrades Deputy Heads of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, representatives of leaders of relevant departments and branches.
At the working session, the delegation grasped the situation of summarizing the implementation of the socio-economic development policy, including: The practice of building an independent and self-reliant economy associated with proactive international integration; the superiority of the socialist regime in socio-economic development; the practice of promoting the values and strength of Vietnamese culture and people to increase resources and motivation in socio-economic development; implementing economic development associated with environmental protection, responding to climate change in the socio-economic development strategy and implementing a comprehensive and modern foreign policy to serve socio-economic development in the province.

In the working program, the delegation surveyed the implementation of Resolution 35-NQ/TW dated October 22, 2018 of the Politburo on "Strengthening the protection of the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views in the new situation". Therein, in-depth assessment of the results achieved in more than 5 years of implementing the Resolution and proposing solutions to improve the quality and effectiveness of the implementation of Resolution No. 35-NQ/TW in conjunction with the local political tasks. Exchanged implementation experiences of agencies and units; discussed the content and methods of coordination between Steering Committee 35 of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Steering Committee 35 of Thanh Hoa province in the coming time.
At the meeting, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Steering Committee 35 Dao Xuan Yen discussed and clarified the results and specific activities of the province to strengthen the protection of the Party's ideological foundation, effectively fight against wrong and hostile views in the new situation; and at the same time proposed a number of contents to improve the effectiveness of Thanh Hoa province's activities in this field.

Representatives of leaders of departments and branches of Thanh Hoa province exchanged and shared experiences on some good models and effective methods in the province for members of the working delegation to grasp, serving the work of advising and planning socio-economic development policies for the period 2025-2030 and innovating and improving the effectiveness of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views in the new situation.

Speaking at the conference, Professor, Dr. Le Van Loi, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, highly appreciated the innovations, creativity and outstanding, comprehensive results that Thanh Hoa province has achieved in all areas of socio-economics, national defense - security, Party building and the political system. Professor, Dr. Le Van Loi emphasized: In socio-economic development, Thanh Hoa has proactively and creatively applied the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws to the practical conditions of the locality, while working and summarizing experiences to apply very effectively in the following years. Believing in the breakthrough of Thanh Hoa province in the coming time, the head of the working delegation said that this will be a vivid reality for the survey delegation to provide scientific arguments for planning socio-economic development policies in the period of 2025-2030.
Regarding the implementation of Resolution 35-NQ/TW of the Politburo, Professor, Dr. Le Van Loi highly appreciated the drastic direction, active and synchronous participation from the provincial to communal levels. Promoting the achieved results, the head of the working delegation suggested that Thanh Hoa province should continue to do a good job of propagating the meaning and importance of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints to raise awareness among cadres, party members and people. At the same time, it is necessary to do a good job of coordination between agencies and units, from forecasting and correctly grasping public opinion information to deploying timely and effective fighting plans. From there, affirming that protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints is a regular and continuous task to contribute to stabilizing political security and social order and safety, creating favorable conditions to promote the province's socio-economic development and strengthening people's trust in the Party's leadership.
